Scheduling: Still On Time
The third phase of the scheduling revamp is underway, and the good news is we are
still on track for completion at the end of next year. Although we are still twelve
months away from a full release, we are currently working hard on adding the multiple
constraints. Whether you are limited by resources, staff and/or skills; the new
scheduling aims to handle each of these comprehensively and intuitively.
If you would like any more information regarding the new scheduling module, just
drop an email to Rich Price: rich.price@factorymaster.co.uk.
New Starter
As part of our multiple constraints scheduling project, we are delighted to introduce
our new recruit Kamesh Thirunavukarasu as our new Junior .Net Developer. Kamesh’s
role is to design and implement the graphical user-interface (GUI) for the scheduling
module. Kamesh has recently finished a Masters degree in Advanced Computer Science
from the University of Leicester and previously worked with the Ford Motor Company.
New Features & Functionality
CRM Campaigns
You can now run CRM campaigns, creating mail-shots to send to lists of contacts
in a campaign. This new feature is only available for those customers who have purchased
the CRM module.

Consignment Stock & Invoices
We have a new chargeable module that will allow you to produce consignment stock
invoices.
The module will ensure that stock is delivered and invoices are raised (if applicable)
to the relevant customer.
This works in two ways. Firstly, you can specify a 'stock owner' on a stock location
and raise invoices for any stock movement to that location. Secondly, it is possible
to enter 'stock consumption' against specified locations.
To find out more, please contact
us.
Tool Purchase Calibration
You can now purchase tools (using stock type 'TL') in FactoryMaster and book these
into the Tooling Register. They can also have a purchase order raised for the calibration
of the tool (stock type 'TC') if it is sent to an external supplier.
All tools can now be calibrated more than once in a day, either on different methods,
or multiple times on one calibration method. All tools can now have multiple calibration
methods.
If the Advanced Inspection Module has been purchased, then each method can also
be associated with an inspection template.

receiving more information on Tool Purchase and calibration.
Supplier Self Billing
You can now set a 'self-billed' on receipt of goods from selected suppliers.
